The creative process can be messy and frustrating and ruthless. Most times the perfectionist in me wants to tear out the pages of my moleskine or backspace until I see a blank screen on my laptop... but something changed yesterday. ___ I saw a message that I've seen hundreds of times before... "what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?" and instead of thinking what I would do, it made me think about my ego. ___ Success or failure is measured by our own perceptions and if I'm deleting or spell-checking or fixing my work before it begins, I'm doing a disservice to myself and failing to let my creativity thrive. ___ So today I'm letting my writing flow. No more erasers. No more backspacing. Share what you're working on in the comments then apply this to your craft and see where it takes you ✨
