Don't think. It complicates things. Just feel, and if it feels like home, follow its path. - RMDrk
___
Home by definition is the place where one lives permanently; and for awhile, I understood home as a physical location. I traveled all over the world in search of "home" - some places I'd stay for years and eventually move onto a new country, others I'd stay months, some were just weeks and sometimes I'd leave after a few hours of my arrival.
___
Looking back, I kept leaving bc I couldn't find a physical location that could meet all of my needs. I wanted to live somewhere that provided a personal and professional balance, a place where I could access good food to nourish my body, and a community that could support and elevate my mind, body and spirit. But I finally figured out the problem - I was looking for all of these things externally, instead of looking at myself internally.
___
To me, home isn't just a physical place, it's an internal feeling of balance, grounding and security. When you feel stable and centered, it doesn't matter where you are geographically as long as you're happy waking up just as you are. And now, I finally feel at home 🙏🏼
