MONEY ENERGY, BUSINESS WORKSHOP 1/21/2017 :: MANAFEST AT HAWAIIAN SANCTUARY

Six years ago I was at the peak of my career and decided that I didn't want to wake up in 40 years doing the exact same thing. I was 25 and burnt out; completely under-appreciated and overworked. It took me all of 2010 to decide that I didn't want to live that way any longer so I packed my bags in 2011 and established myself as Little Miss Local - the girl who ate her way around the world.

When I came back to the states I pressed the reset button and worked hard to establish myself in the NYC food scene by writing, volunteering, cooking, modeling, coordinating events, marketing, networking... the works! #thedreamisfreethehustleissoldseparately

Long story short, I made it. I was hired as Head of Marketing to work with celebrity chefs at major benefits, however I started feeling under-appreciated and overworked again.

My family encouraged me to stick with it for another two years bc "jobs aren't always fun" but I decided that "I prefer to be my own boss." #girlboss

So I picked up freelance work, and signed on to be the Food Editor for NY Yoga Magazine before I decided to build my own business as a personal brand and marketing strategist.

Fast forward to today--- I'm living oceanside in Hawaii writing childrens books and helping clients from all over the world turn thoughts into actions and passions into professions.
